GAIL Gas Ltd has begun the process of appointing investment banks for an initial public offering that could raise up to ₹3,100 crore.[1]
In the first quarter, GAIL's revenue rose 12 per cent year-on-year to ₹38,950 crore with operating profit of ₹6,380 crore, up 91 per cent year-on-year, and adjusted net profit of ₹4,290 crore, up 127.5 per cent year-on-year.[2]
Projects by Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited, Jal Sansthan and GAIL that were suspended during the monsoon have resumed, adding to ongoing work across the city.[3]
GAIL Gas is using a mix of differently priced natural gas supplies and contractual flexibility to keep prices affordable for industrial customers and sustain demand.[4]
